Noir
Noir, producer, author, guitarist, performer, was born in the province of Cuneo in the early 1980s. In 1997 he founded the death metal band, Paranormal Misteria, with whom he recorded his first demo tapes, played numerous concerts local and abroad, keeping the project active until 2007. He then founded L'Ame Noire, turning the direction of the project towards sounds closer to rock. In 2010, the band released an EP titled, "Les Ames Noires," containing 5 unreleased songs while also staying dedicated to performing live, which led them to open of the two Italian live sets of the Finnish band, Poisonblack, in November 2010.
The live activity of 2012 sees L'Ame Noire perform in various clubs and squares throughout Italy and in August of the same year, Valter Sacripanti (Nek, Cristicchi, Frankie Hi-Ngr, Ivan Graziani, Carlotta) began a collaboration in the pre-production phase of a new EP, giving a new imprinting to the sound of L'Ame Noire. The disc, entitled "Il Deserto," was released on June 24, 2013, produced by Ettore Diliberto, published by Top Records, and distributed by Edel Italia throughout the country. The master of the single "Il Deserto" was curated by Simon Gibson (winner of 2 Grammy Awards for the remastering of the Beatles omnia opera) at Abbey Road Studios in London.
During the 2013/2014 concert season, the band treaded several stages throughout the peninsula and was also included in prestigious live acts such as "Notte delle Chitarre" and "Giants of Guitar", thus dividing the stage with Custodie Cautelari, Giuseppe Scarpato (E. Bennato), Federico Poggipollini (Ligabue), Ricky Portera (L. Dalla, Stadio), Maurizio Solieri (Vasco Rossi), Alberto Radius (Battisti), as well as exporting his music to the prestigious “Nambucca” in London. During the trip to London, the band returned to Abbey Road Studios for the mastering of the single "Lo Specchio" which anticipated the album of the same name. The mastering of the song is again entrusted to Simon Gibson and the song receives the award as "best original song" by R.E.A. on February 26, 2014, in Sanremo, during the Italian song festival. The single "Lo Specchio" also enters 36th place in the Italian ranking of the M.E.I., remaining in the ranking for over 12 weeks. On 1 July 2014, the first full length "The mirror" was released, published by Top Records and distributed by Edel Italia throughout the national territory. The second single "Plastica" reaches the 46th place of the national M.E.I.
Collaborations and artistic productions began in 2015 and continue to this day with many bands and artists from the underground scene, including Canone Inverso, Max LoBuono, The Beerers, Lapadit, and Giuseppe Scarpato. In 2016, a new challenge led him to undertake a solo career, composing and arranging, under the artistic direction of Valter Sacripanti, the songs that will make up his first solo album. The recordings of the disc were attended by Valter Sacripanti as drummer, Nicola Mazzucconi on bass (Ian Peace, Labirynth), Massimo Ciocca on solo guitar (F. Renga).
At the same time, Noir relied on “The Dirty Crayons” as a support band for the live shows. This line-up accompanied him during the concert season and in the promotion of the first single "Autodafè," released on March 8, 2018, as well as the subsequent album, "Paratechnicolor," released on May 28, 2018. "Paratechnicolor" entered the General and Rock sales chart by iTunes (12th and 9th place) on day one of publication, obtaining a good response from the public and collecting excellent reviews. On March 6, 2019, the single "Down" was released, this time with a different lineup. The sounds of the new single recall trip-hop, grunge, and synthvave plots.
On April 3, 2020, "Inhuman Pt 1" was released. It is an instrumental song that sees the definitive turning point in electronic territories by moving the sound to EBM and trip hop. Composed and produced by Noir, this new single is part of a series of songs that were aimed to eviscerate the concept of freedom in modern society. On May 8, 2020, the single “Inhuman Pt. 2” was released, followed by “The Mole is Dead,” closing the EP, “Inhuman.”
In 2020, Noir dedicated himself to artistic productions including the one with Dydo, as co-producer together with Alfredo Grassi, which resulted in the single, "Prestami il cuore," by Dydo, released in December 2020. During 2021, Noir worked on nis new EP, a mix of glitch and pop music, to be released later this year, as well as continuing his collaboration with Dydo for his new single "Monolocale," released on July 9, 2021.
Noir’s new EP "Blackest Hole," released via Blessed Cross Records, is expected to come out by the end of 2021.

Allo stesso tempo, Noir faceva affidamento sui "The Dirty Crayons" come band di supporto per gli spettacoli dal vivo. Questa formazione lo ha accompagnato durante la stagione concertistica e nella promozione del primo singolo "Autodafè", uscito l'8 marzo 2018, nonché del successivo album, "Paratechnicolor", uscito il 28 maggio 2018. "Paratechnicolor" è entrato nella classifica di vendita General and Rock di iTunes (12° e 9° posto) il primo giorno di pubblicazione, ottenendo un buon riscontro di pubblico e raccogliendo ottime recensioni. Il 6 marzo 2019 è uscito il singolo "Down", questa volta con una formazione diversa. I suoni del nuovo singolo richiamano trame trip-hop, grunge e synthvave.
Il 3 aprile 2020 è stato rilasciato "Inhuman Pt 1". È un brano strumentale che vede la svolta definitiva nei territori dell'elettronica spostando il sound su EBM e trip hop. Composto e prodotto da Noir, questo nuovo singolo fa parte di una serie di canzoni che miravano a sviscerare il concetto di libertà nella società moderna. L'8 maggio 2020, il singolo “Inhuman Pt. 2", seguito da "The Mole is Dead", che chiudeva l'EP, "Inhuman".
Nel 2020 Noir si è dedicato a produzioni artistiche tra cui quella con Dydo, in qualità di co-produttore insieme ad Alfredo Grassi, da cui è scaturito il singolo "Prestami il cuore", dei Dydo, uscito a dicembre 2020. Nel corso del 2021 Noir ha lavorato a Questo nuovo EP, un mix di glitch e musica pop, uscirà entro la fine dell'anno, oltre a continuare la sua collaborazione con Dydo per il suo nuovo singolo "Monolocale", pubblicato il 9 luglio 2021.
Il nuovo EP dei Noir "Blackest Hole", pubblicato tramite la Benedict Cross Records, dovrebbe uscire entro la fine del 2021.
