Born in 1998, Zest is an Italian singer-songwriter who grew up in the Modena area. At the age of 16, he began to write his first lyrics, making himself appreciated immediately for his versatility and authorial maturity. A few years later, he was the opening act for brilliant Italian rap-game names, such as GionnyScandal, Lortex, Sac1, and Sercho.
In 2021, Zest released his first single, "Offline," soon followed by "R&B," which came out on August 27, saw him collaborating with another young artist, Liner. The song, written by the two in collaboration with Roberto Mennuti and produced by Keynoise, marked the artistic turning point of Zest, highlighting his eclecticism and an innovative artistic imprint, which perfectly blends the Soul/R'n'B sounds of great names of the Black Music of the past, to a more current and fresh musical imagery, able to captivate audiences of all ages.
Zest’s latest single, “VABBÈ,” was released on February 8.

What inspired you to become a musician?

Definitely my love and passion for music that I discovered, started when I was little like 7/8/9 years. I have no particular talents, there are much better musicians than me, but how real can they be? God bless them.

That of giving importance every day. To cultivate their passions and the art of doing whatever the fuck you want.
We must have the courage to do what others do not have or have not had the courage to do. When people tell you that it is impossible for them to follow your greatest passion, it is because in your place, they would have that limit that they have just told you.
So, fuck it, I managed to give a damn, so the best advice is not a real advice, but more a "self-training" to know how to live with the conception that today in 2022 everything is possible.
Quello di darsi importanza ogni giorno. Di coltivare le proprie passioni e l'arte di fare quel cazzo che ti pare.
Bisogna avere il coraggio di fare ciò che gli altri non hanno o che non hanno avuto coraggio di fare. Quando le persone ti dicono che per loro è impossibile seguire quella che è la tua più grande passione, è perché loro al tuo posto, avrebbero quel limite che ti hanno appena riferito.
Quindi fottitene, io sono riuscito a fregarmene, per questo il consiglio migliore non è un vero e proprio consiglio, ma più un “auto formarsi” a saper vivere con la concezione che oggi nel 2022 è tutto possibile.
