Claudio Cirimele è un cantante italiano che ha iniziato la sua carriera artistica all'età di 16 anni, guidando band della sua regione. Il percorso musicale del musicista ligure cambia nel 1989, quando collabora con l'editore e produttore imperiese Giuseppe "Tino" Garibbo. Questa svolta lo porta a partecipare a vari festival internazionali.
Molte città e stati del mondo hanno ospitato gli spettacoli di Cirimele: dalla Romania alla Lettonia, dall'Egitto alla Macedonia, passando per Finlandia, Stati Uniti e Cile, dove ha avuto l'onore di condividere il palco con star planetarie come Toto Cotugno, Laura Pausini, Jovanotti e Shakira.
In Cile, nel 1993, Cirimele ha vinto il prestigioso Viñadel Marcon Festival con il brano "In questo mondo", scritto dal produttore Tino Garibbo e arrangiato da Claudio Guidetti. Questa vittoria gli ha offerto l'opportunità di firmare un contratto discografico e di realizzare l'album, "In questo mondo", che vanta illustri collaborazioni con grandi nomi della musica italiana, tra cui Claudio Guidetti, Rosario Bonaccorso e Gianpaolo Casati.

Claudio Cirimele is an Italian singer who started his artistic career at the age of 16, fronting bands in his region. The Ligurian musician’s musical path changed in 1989, when he collaborated with publisher and producer from Imperia, Giuseppe "Tino" Garibbo. This turning point led him to participate in various international festivals.
Many cities and states around the world have hosted Cirimele’s performances: from Romania to Latvia, from Egypt to Macedonia, through Finland, the United States, and Chile, where he had the honor of sharing the stage with planetary stars such as Toto Cotugno, Laura Pausini, Jovanotti and Shakira.
In Chile, in 1993, Cirimele won the prestigious Viñadel Marcon Festival with the song, "In questo mondo," which was written by the producer Tino Garibbo and arranged by Claudio Guidetti. This victory provided him the opportunity to sign a recording contract and to make the album, "In questo mondo," which boasts illustrious collaborations with great names in Italian music, including Claudio Guidetti, Rosario Bonaccorso, and Gianpaolo Casati.

In realtà nulla di particolare, la musica mi ha sempre attratto sin da bambino anche se a casa non avevo nessuno che suonasse o mi facesse vedere, a me piaceva e soprattutto mi divertivo a creare canzonette nuove più che a canticchiare quelle conosciute.
Actually, nothing in particular, music has always attracted me since I was a child even if at home, I had no one to play or show me, I liked it and above all I enjoyed creating new songs rather than humming the known ones.

Come dicevo sin da piccolo, ma le prime volte che ho cominciato ad esibirmi con qualche band locale avevo 16/17 anni.

How would you describe your music?
Non amo ascrivermi ad un genere o ad una categoria, i miei brani sono in tanti modi. Una volta in una recensione l’hanno definita “moderna d’altri tempi” mi è piaciuta questa descrizione.
I don't like to belong to a genre or a category, my songs are in many ways. Once in a review they called it "modern from the past" I liked this description.

Nella mia carriera mi sono esibito un po’ in tutto il mondo, rappresentavo l’Italia in Festival internazionali, quindi sono stato in Svezia, Lettonia, Romania, Stati Uniti e in Chile. Quest’anno sono stato finalista a SanremoRock, l’Ariston, nonostante sia il palco di “casa”, ancora mi mancava!
A fine ottobre ero al Teatro degli Eroi a Roma per il Roma Music Festival.
In my career I have performed a little all over the world, I represented Italy in international festivals, then I have been to Sweden, Latvia, Romania, the United States, and Chile. This year I was a finalist in SanremoRock, the Ariston, despite it being the "home" stage, it was still missing!

Non saprei, mi piace molto cantare “il coltello nella piaga” mi diverto e mi dà una grande energia. È il brano che ha portato al Roma Music Festival, è ancora inedito.
I don't know, I really like singing "il coltello nella piaga," I enjoy it and it gives me a lot of energy. This is the piece that I brought to the Rome Music Festival, it is still unreleased.
Quali musicisti celebri ammiri?
Which famous musicians do you admire?
Può sembrare una risposta qualunquista, ma la musica mi piace davvero tutta, sia quella dei big che quella degli artisti emergenti. Perché la musica ci mette a nudo e ci sentiamo tutti un po’ scoperti, mi piace scovare la vera voglia di comunicare dell’artista; è lì che mi emoziona di più e mi conquista. Per questo ammiro tutti i musicisti, perché hanno il coraggio di mettersi a nudo.
It may seem like an indifferent answer, but I really like all of music, both that of the big names and that of emerging artists. Because music lays us bare and we all feel a little uncovered, I like to find the artist's true desire to communicate; that's where he excites me the most and wins me over. This is why I admire all musicians, because they have the courage to get naked.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Credo che il miglior consiglio che mi sia stato dato sia stato quello di non fermarmi e di portare a termine i miei progetti, me lo diceva Tino, il mio manager, è stata la persona che mi ha scoperto e che ha creduto per prima in me; gli devo praticamente tutto quello che sono in campo musicale.
I think the best advice I was given was not to stop and to complete my projects, Tino, my manager, was the person who discovered me and believed in me first. I owe him practically everything I am in the music business.
Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?
If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?
Non mi sento di poter dire cosa fare o cosa non fare. Riuscire ad emergere con la musica è sempre stato difficile, oggi forse lo è ancora di più date le possibilità tecnologiche che chiunque può avere a casa e la portata dei social, la cosa positiva è che c’è molta più musica in giro e più facilmente fruibile per tutti.
I don't feel I can tell what to do or what not to do. I miei fan mi sento solo di ringraziarli per l’affetto e l’appoggio che mi dimostrano. Spero di poter tornare a fare qualche live sul territorio così da sentirli ancora più vicini.

Sto lavorando per finire l'EP che spero possa uscire in primavera e poi come dicevo sto lavorando con alcuni amici per poter portare qualche serata in giro magari con l’estate prossima.
