Dalila Bizzini is an Italian singer-songwriter from Bologna. After collaborating with Take Away Studios in Modena, she released her first single, “Truman Show,” on July 21, 2020. With them, she went on to release the singles “Artimia” in February 2021, “Incostante” the following October, and her most recent one, “Marilyn,” which came out on March 11.

What inspired you to become a musician?

Music has always been part of me, since I was a child, I listened to music with my parents and we all sang together, then they enrolled me in singing school, and I started studying and participating in various competitions at both regional and national level.
La musica ha sempre fatto parte di me, fin da piccola ascoltavo musica con i miei e cantavamo tutti insieme, poi mi hanno iscritta a scuola di canto ed ho iniziato a studiare e partecipare a vari concorsi a livello sia regionale che nazionale.
How old were you when you started playing (music)?

More than anything else to sing, I started at 11, but for some years I have also been able to accompany myself with the piano.

Electronic R&B, often with some reggae influence.

I have participated in various events, including the Castrocaro Festival. Recently I was also on Radio Deejay, with my penultimate single "ARITMIA" and related video clip.

I love to perform with my songs, so currently I would say with the latest single "MARILYN".

Which famous musicians do you admire?

Lucio Dalla first of all, an undisputed myth. I love Italian songwriters, but I am also very inspired by American music on a stylistic level - both modern and older.
Lucio Dalla primo fra tutti, mito indiscusso. Amo i cantautori italiani, ma mi ispiro molto anche alla musica americana a livello stilistico - sia moderna che meno recente.
What is the best advice you’ve been given?

To always aim at the goal, focus and center it without hesitation.
Di mirare sempre all’obiettivo, focalizzarmi e centrarlo senza esitazioni.
If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?
Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?
I would certainly change the fact that image comes first, and aesthetics count so much, risking taking focus away from the music.
Cambierei sicuramente il fatto che l’immagine venga prima di tutto, che conti così tanto l’estetica anche rischiando di togliere spazio alla musica.
What is a message you would like to give to your fans?
