Musician Greta Palmieri was born in Lithuania and was adopted by an Italian family, moving to Italy at the age of 10. She now lives in Corridonia, a town in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region. When her parents heard her sing in the bedroom, they immediately understood that music for her was "life," and was indispensable. They then enrolled her in music school and from there she never stopped cultivating her passion. She attended multiple music schools and from 2017, started participating in different competitions.
During the pandemic, Greta got closer to writing; drafting unpublished lyrics, followed by embarking on a short-lived study path with singer-songwriter Serena Abrami. She is also studying Pop Singing with Cristina Dominella in Civitanova Marche, and Jazz Singing with Giuliano Bruscantini in Macerata; moreover, she is studying Modern Piano with Giovanni Tornambene.
Greta’s debut single, "Pioggia Dei Ricordi" was released in July 2021. She participated in several Radio Interviews to promote it. Her latest single, “L’eco dei Pensieri,” was released on January 14.
La musicista Greta Palmieri è nata in Lituania ed è stata adottata da una famiglia italiana, trasferendosi in Italia all'età di 10 anni. Attualmente vive a Corridonia, un paese in provincia di Macerata, nelle Marche. Quando i suoi genitori l'hanno sentita cantare in camera da letto, hanno subito capito che la musica per lei era "vita", ed era indispensabile. L'hanno poi iscritta alla scuola di musica e da lì non ha mai smesso di coltivare la sua passione. Ha frequentato diverse scuole di musica e dal 2017 ha iniziato a partecipare a diversi concorsi.
Durante la pandemia Greta si è avvicinata alla scrittura; stesura di testi inediti, seguito da un percorso di studio di breve durata con la cantautrice Serena Abrami. Studia inoltre Canto Pop con Cristina Dominella a Civitanova Marche e Canto Jazz con Giuliano Bruscantini a Macerata; inoltre studia Pianoforte Moderno con Giovanni Tornambene.
Il singolo di debutto di Greta, "Pioggia Dei Ricordi" è stato pubblicato nel luglio 2021. Ha partecipato a diverse interviste radiofoniche per promuoverlo. Il 14 gennaio è uscito il suo ultimo singolo, "L'eco dei Pensieri".
What inspired you to become a musician?

I have always loved sharing my passion for music. I started humming around the house in front of my parents then in front of acquaintances and arriving to perform during the rehearsals of the singing schools and at the various music competitions. I have always been supported by the people around me in fact it was a colleague of my father to give myself a CD with the songs and I began to imitate singers like Laura Pausini.
Ho sempre amato condividere la mia passione per la musica. Ho incominciato canticchiando in giro per casa davanti ai miei genitori poi davanti ai conoscenti e ad arrivare ad esibirmi durante i saggi delle scuole di canto e ai vari concorsi musicali. Sono sempre stata sostenuta dalle persone che mi circondano infatti fu proprio un collega di mio padre a regalarmi un cd con le canzoni e io incominciavo a imitare i cantanti come Laura Pausini.

I've been studying the piano for 2 years, I started during the pandemic. Singing at the age of 10 my parents enroll me in music school and then over time I have changed several teachers.
