Born in 1997, Christian Guerra, also known as “Hermess,” is an Italian singer-songwriter/artist from Bologna. He attended accounting school, and now is chasing his dream of reaching people’s hearts through his music and lyrics while working at a hardware store.
Through his words, Hermess transforms his dreams, fears, and joys into something tangible that anyone who listens can relate to. His latest single, “Incanto,” was released on December 25, 2021.

What inspired you to become a musician?

I don't think there is anything that inspired me, I think there is something that brought and pushed me to do it. A pain in my case. It was born more of a pain than a passion.

How old were you when you started playing (music)?

I started playing the guitar at 11-12 years old, but it was nothing continuous. Instead, since almost three years ago, I decided to undertake this path, I study piano.
Iniziai a suonare la chitarra a 11-12 anni ma non fu niente di continuo. Invece, da quando quasi tre anni fa, ho deciso di intraprendere questo percorso, studio pianoforte.
How would you describe your music?

Without definition, it can be all or nothing. If there is a word I would like to attribute to my music, it would be an eternal journey.
