Alessandro Di Pace è un pianista italiano, che attualmente studia presso l'Università di Medicina e Chirurgia di Palermo. Oltre al pianoforte, porta con sé la passione per la scrittura e per suonare la chitarra.

Alessandro non ha pubblicato nessun album al momento, ma il suo progetto è in cantiere.

Alessandro Di Pace is an Italian pianist, who is currently studying at the University of Medicine and Surgery in Palermo. In addition to the piano, he brings with him a passion for writing and playing the guitar.

Alessandro hasn't released any albums at the moment, but his project is in the pipeline.

Cosa ti ha ispirato a diventare un musicista?

What inspired you to become a musician?

Prevalentemente è stata la voglia, fin da bambino, di voler comunicare un determinato messaggio senza espormi più del dovuto.

Quindi mi sono trovato subito in sintonia con la musica, poiché mi dava l’opportunità di farlo.

Mainly it was the desire, since childhood, to want to communicate a certain message without exposing myself more than necessary.

So I immediately found myself in tune with the music, as it gave me the opportunity to do so.

Quanti anni avevi quando hai iniziato a suonare?

How old were you when you started playing (music)?

Sinceramente non ricordo, iniziai come chitarrista, ma ero molto piccolo.

Tuttavia la passione per il pianoforte iniziò circa 3 anni fa.

I honestly don't remember, I started out as a guitarist, but I was very young.

However, the passion for the piano began about 3 years ago.

Come descriveresti la tua musica?

How would you describe your music?

Come un vortice espressivo che cerca di scuotere l’animo delle persone.

Like an expressive vortex that tries to shake people's souls.

Dove ti sei esibito? Hai dei prossimi concerti?

Where have you performed? Do you have any upcoming shows?

Al giardino inglese di Palermo, parecchio tempo fa.

Al momento, anche data la situazione mondiale, non sono in programma.

At the moment, even given the world situation, they are not planned.

Dov'è il luogo del tuo concerto ideale?

Where is your ideal place to perform?

Credo possa essere il teatro Massimo.

I think it could be the Massimo theater.

Qual è la tua canzone preferita da esibire?

What is your favorite song to perform?

Mi piacerebbe Op. 23 No. 1 in G minor di Chopin.

I like Chopin's Op. 23 No. 1 in G minor.

Quali musicisti famosi ammiri?

Which famous musicians do you admire?

Sicuramente Ludovico Einaudi, perché credo sia stato in grado di rendere meno di nicchia il pianoforte.

Ma in realtà ascolto anche altro, come Eminem, che è sempre andato avanti nonostante le difficoltà.

Definitely Ludovico Einaudi because I believe he was able to make the piano less niche.

But in reality I also listen to others, like Eminem, who has always moved on despite the difficulties.

Qual è il miglior consiglio che ti è stato dato?

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

In quanto autodidatta molti mi hanno detto di continuare a coltivare questa passione.

As self-taught, many have told me to continue cultivating this passion.

Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?

If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?

Cambierei fin troppe cose.

Diciamo che in generale c’è poca cultura ed è per questo che, tendenzialmente, nel mondo della musica vanno avanti proprio gli “artisti” che mirano sull’ascolto non impegnato.

Modificare quest’aspetto credo possa sistemare la maggior parte delle cose.

I would change too many things.

Let's say that in general there is little culture and that is why, basically, in the world of music, the "artists" who aim at non-committed listening tend to advance.

I believe that modifying this aspect can fix most things.

Qual è un messaggio che vorresti dare ai tuoi fan?

What is a message you would like to give to your fans?

Che il meglio deve ancora venire, ci sono tanti progetti e tutti molto diversi tra di loro. Spero che possiate apprezzarli.

That the best is yet to come, there are many projects and all very different from each other. I hope you enjoy them.
