Classe 1992, Christian De Fusco è un DJ e produttore italiano di Napoli. All'età di 11 anni si trasferisce con la famiglia a Presenzano, paese al confine tra Campania e Molise in provincia di Caserta. Fin dalla tenera età, Christian era un amante della musica oltre che un amante degli strumenti. All'età di 13 anni, ha conosciuto Antonio Liguoro (Tony L.) nella sua città e sono diventati amici. Spinto dalla sua spiccata passione per la musica, Christian chiese a Tony L. di insegnargli a usare la console (Technics Turntable) (LP) il vecchio ma amato vinile. L'anno successivo, Tony L. si ritirò dalla sua carriera e Christian comprò la sua console e iniziò a esibirsi ai compleanni della zona, così come ad alcune feste. All'età di 15 anni hanno organizzato una festa in paese (Beer Fest) di Mario Funaro dove ha dato una mano, ma l'ultima sera ci sono stati problemi con il gruppo che doveva suonare, e hanno chiesto a Christian di prendere il console e giocare. Quella sera, De Fusco ha dichiarato che non dimenticherà mai che è stata la sera in cui c'è stata la più alta affluenza di cittadini del paese e dei paesi vicini, il che è stato per lui un'ottima pubblicità. Da lì tutte le feste di compleanno, le serate nei pub e così via, si avvicinava il periodo estivo di alta stagione e attraverso un annuncio su Facebook, Christian ha partecipato a un casting come dj nei villaggi turistici. Da allora si esibisce per 6 anni nei villaggi, e partecipa alla DJ SCHOOL IN ROME con attestato rilasciato come TLS (tecnico luci audio) e DJ / DJ Producer.

Born in 1992, Christian De Fusco is an Italian DJ and Producer from Napoli. At the age of 11, he moved with his family to Presenzano, a town on the border between Campania and Molise in the Province of Caserta. From an early age, Christian was a lover of music as well as a lover of instruments. At the age of 13, he met Antonio Liguoro (Tony L.) in his town, and they became friends. Driven by his strong passion for music, Christian asked Tony L. to teach him to use the console (Technics Turntable) (LP) the old but beloved vinyl. The following year, Tony L. retired from his career and Christian bought his console and started performing at birthdays in the area, as well as a few parties. At the age of 15, they organized a party in the village (Beer Fest) by Mario Funaro where he gave a hand, but on the last evening, there were problems with the group that had to play, and they asked Christian to take the console and play. That evening, De Fusco declared he will never forget that it was the evening where there was the highest turnout from the citizens of the country and neighboring countries, which was excellent publicity for him. From there all birthday parties, evenings in pubs and so on, the high season summer period approached and through an announcement on Facebook, Christian participated in a casting as a DJ in the tourist villages. Since then, he performed for 6 years in the villages, and participated in the DJ SCHOOL IN ROME with a certificate issued as a TLS (audio-lighting technician) and DJ / DJ Producer.

Cosa ti ha ispirato a unirti alla carriera musicale?

What inspired you to join the music career?

Sin da piccolo sono stato sempre appassionato di musica e mi sono avvicinato al mondo del dj iniziando con i vinili ai tempi non c’era ancora il sistema digitale... La musica per me è spensieratezza... ma soprattutto mi ha ispirato ad imparare giorno x giorno cose nuove e conoscere persone nuove.

Since I was a child, I have always been passionate about music and I approached the world of DJs starting with vinyls at the time there was still no digital system ... Music for me is light-hearted... but above all it inspired me to learn day by day new things and meeting new people.

Hai iniziato prima come produttore o DJ?

Ho iniziato come dj e dal 2016 mi sono immerso anche come producer.

Cosa ti ha spinto ad avviare la tua stazione radio?

What prompted you to start your own radio station?

La passione per la musica in generale... Soprattutto la musica neomelodica partenopea... Conoscere i miei idoli da piccoli come Leo Ferrucci, Franco Damore, Tony Marciano, Tommy Riccio e tanti altri artisti con cui sono cresciuto.

The passion for music in general... especially Neapolitan neomelodic music ... knowing my idols as children like Leo Ferrucci, Franco Damore, Tony Marciano, Tommy Riccio, and many other artists I grew up with.

Essendo un produttore, preferisci rimanere all'interno di un genere?

As a producer, do you prefer to stay within a genre?

Io spazio in vari generi dalla commerciale alla tech house ma mi piace sperimentare sempre nuovi generi voglio sempre essere al passo con i tempi.

I space in various genres from commercial to tech-house, but I always like to experiment with new genres I always want to keep up with the times.

Come hai incontrato per la prima volta gli artisti con cui hai lavorato?

How did you first meet the artists you worked with?

Li ho incontrati tramite un concorso per dj e loro erano la giuria avendo vinto un concorso nel Lazio nel 2015 da lì è iniziata una conoscenza è una bella collaborazione che ancora tutti oggi abbiamo.

I met them through a competition for DJs. They were the jury having won a competition in Lazio in 2015, and from there an acquaintance began as well as a beautiful collaboration that we still have today.

Hai un progetto musicale preferito su cui hai lavorato finora?

Do you have a favorite music project you've worked on so far?

Si ... il mio nuovo album di quest’anno chiamato “Rumors” il racconto della mia vita attraverso la Dance mischiata anche con qualche cantante partenopea che presta la sua voce.

Yes ... my new album this year called “Rumors,” the story of my life through Dance mixed with a Neapolitan singer who lends his voice.

Si… Il mio sogno sarebbe lavorare con Gigi D’Agostino o Joseph Capriati.

Qual è il miglior consiglio che ti è stato dato?

What's the best advice you've been given?

Credere sempre in me stesso e non abbattersi quando ti viene chiusa una porta ... Si chiude una porta ma si potrebbe aprire un portone.

To always believe in myself and don't break down when a door is closed ... a door closes but a door could open.

Hai qualche consiglio per i giovani che vogliono diventare produttori musicali?

Do you have any advice for young people who want to become music producers?

Lavorare sodo... Essere costante… E credere sempre nei propri sogni a lungo andare arrivano le soddisfazioni dovute.

Work hard... Be constant... And always believe in your dreams, in the long run, the necessary satisfactions arrive.

Che ne dici di aspiranti DJ?

How about aspiring DJs?

Sono contento perché ce ne sono tanti come me che lo fanno o lo vogliono fare e mestiere... Credo nella musica e nella loro musica... L’importante è farlo perché si ama ciò che si fa… E non che si faccia per moda.

I'm happy because there are many like me who do it or want to do it as a profession... I believe in music and in their music ... The important thing is to do it because you love what you do... and not that you face for fashion.

Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nell'industria musicale, cosa cambieresti?

If you could change something in the music industry, what would you change?

Il mercato digitale... È vero che ci dà modo di farci conoscere prima attraverso condivisioni social e tutto... Ma io ricordo quando ero piccolo e dovevo comprare L ultima uscita di Gigi d’Agostino... Si faceva la fila per riuscire a prendere il CD... Cosa che oggi basta cliccare su internet e hai tutto.

The digital market .. It is true that it gives us a way to make ourselves known first through social sharing and all, but I remember when I was little and I had to buy Gigi d'Agostino's latest release ... There was a queue to be able to get the CD .. Something that today, you just click on the internet and you have it all.

Cosa ti piace fare per divertirti al di fuori del lavoro musicale?

What do you like to do to have fun outside of music work?

Mi piace cantare o per lo meno ci provo.

I like to sing or at least I try.
