Nato nel 1978, Ernesto Dolvi è un sassofonista, polistrumentista e compositore italiano di Napoli. Il musicista napoletano inizia a studiare musica all'età di 10 anni. L'approccio iniziale di Ernesto è stato come parte di una banda, poi, in seguito al desiderio di approfondire gli studi, si è iscritto al conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella.

Ernesto ha un vasto repertorio concertistico e discografico con musicisti italiani e stranieri, dalla musica etnica a quella pop, dalla musica fusion alla House Music, sebbene abbia sempre preferito il Soul e il Funky come genere predominante. Tra le sue collaborazioni live sono quelle di Enzo Avitabile e Luca Sepe, accompagnandoli in numerose tournée all'estero (Bielorussia, Bulgaria ecc.). Fa anche parte di numerose band campane come Blackmarket, Mr. Hyde, Soulriver, ecc. Le collaborazioni internazionali di Ernesto includono Sagi Rei, Chic e Kool & the Gang. Lavorando anche in televisione, Ernesto ha collaborato con Made in Sud e 4ristoranti di Alessandro Borghese su Sky.

Nel 2019 Ernesto ha partecipato alla nona edizione di ITALIA'S GOT TALENT arrivando in finale, riempiendo ogni sera il suono potente del suo sax graffiato, coinvolgendo i giudici e il pubblico nelle sue esibizioni. Attualmente è impegnato in performance dal vivo e nella realizzazione di un album solista.

L'ultimo singolo di Ernesto, "Wind in Hand", è stato pubblicato nel giugno 2020.

Born in 1978, Ernesto Dolvi is an Italian saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer from Naples. The Neapolitan musician began studying music at the age of 10. Ernesto’s initial approach was as part of a band, then, following the desire to further his studies, he enrolled in the conservatory of San Pietro a Majella.

Ernesto has a vast concert and record repertoire with Italian and foreign musicians, from ethnic to pop music, from fusion music to House Music, although he has always preferred Soul and Funky as his predominant genre. His live performance collaborations include those of Enzo Avitabile and Luca Sepe, accompanying them on many tours abroad (Belarus, Bulgaria etc.). He is also part of numerous bands from Campania such as Blackmarket, Mr. Hyde, Soulriver, etc. Ernesto’s International collaborations include Sagi Rei, Chic, and Kool & the Gang. Working also in television, Ernesto has collaborated with Made in Sud and 4ristoranti by Alessandro Borghese on Sky.

In 2019, Ernesto participated in the ninth edition of ITALIA'S GOT TALENT arriving in the final, filling every evening with the powerful sound of his scratched sax, involving the judges and the public in his performances. Currently, he is engaged in live performances and the realization of a solo album.

Ernesto’s latest single, “Wind in Hand,” was released in June 2020.

Cosa ti ha ispirato a diventare un musicista?

What inspired you to become a musician?

Io credo che più che qualcosa o qualcuno che mi ha ispirato a diventare un musicista è stata la voglia di riscatto sociale...la voglia di dire io sono diverso ho qualcosa che gli altri non hanno...e che nessuno mai mi può rubare o portare via.

I believe that more than something or someone that inspired me to become a musician was the desire for social redemption ... the desire to say I am different I have something that others do not have ... and that no one ever me can steal or take away.

Quanti anni avevi quando hai iniziato a suonare?

How old were you when you started playing (music)?

All’età di 10 anni mi avvicino alla musica suonando la chitarra dopo qualche mese entra il sax nella mia vita e da allora non è mai più uscito...

At the age of 10 I approached music by playing the guitar. After a few months the sax entered my life and hasn't left since ....

Come descriveresti la tua musica?

How would you describe your music?

La mia musica si avvicina alla cultura mediterranea fondendola al funky, soul in ogni genere che suono si sente la mia “napoletanita” nel suono del mio sax.

My music approaches the Mediterranean culture by blending it with funk and soul. In every genre I play, you hear my "Neapolitan" in the sound of my sax.

Where have you performed? Do you have any upcoming shows?

Prossimi concerti è una bella domanda in questo periodo... speriamo di riprendere i concerti live quanto prima per quanto riguarda le mie esibizioni in 32 anni di musica se ti elenco tutte le esibizioni facciamo notte -scherzi a parte L esibizioni più belle fin ad oggi arrivare ad Italia’s Got talent.

Next concerts is a good question in this period ..... we hope to resume live concerts as soon as possible. Regarding my performances, in 32 years of music, the most beautiful to date was to arrive at Italia's Got talent.

Dov'è il luogo del tuo concerto ideale?

Where is your ideal place to perform?

A me va piace suonare tantissimo nei club proprio perché si istaura un rapporto di feeling reciproco con il pubblico, comunque non ho un posto ideale vero e proprio per suonare mi piace farlo sempre a in tutti i posti.

I like to play a lot in clubs, precisely because a relationship of mutual feeling is established with the public, however I don't have a real ideal place to play- I like to do it in all places.

What is your favorite song to perform?

Una in particolare che sono molto legato è “che ore so,“ di Pino Daniele .
