Over Country and Zones (OCZ) è uno dei progetti musicali di Enrico De Lucia, produttore, sound designer e compositore italiano di origini campane, attualmente residente a Londra. Il polistrumentista ha iniziato a suonare il pianoforte da bambino, ma spinto dalla sua passione per la musica elettronica, ha iniziato a fare il DJ nel 2006.
Con lo pseudonimo di Uppeach, nel 2010, De Lucia ha iniziato a cimentarsi nella produzione, realizzando principalmente strumentali hip-hop per amici e giovani rapper locali. Negli anni seguenti, ha girato l'Europa suonando nei migliori club del continente e ha aperto serate e dj set di artisti come Kenny Dope, 2 many Dj's / Soulwax, Dope D.O.D, TeeBee e molti altri.
Nel 2018, De Lucia ha conseguito il Master in "Art of music production" presso il Berklee College of Music ed è stato ammesso alla Point Blank Music School nel 2019, dove attualmente sta completando il suo corso di laurea in "Music Production and Sound design."
Nella sua carriera, De Lucia ha avuto pubblicazioni di varie etichette in tutto il mondo, come: Sony Japan, Universal, Cult Classic e B.M. e vanta remix per artisti come Dj Snake, The Weekend e Adele, passati alla radio come Beats1 e pubblicati sui principali portali DJ, come DjCity. Dal 2015, ha iniziato a collaborare con alcune delle principali librerie musicali internazionali che porteranno il suo sound design a 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Netflix, Sky Uk e a lavorare per registi come Michael Bay e F. Gary Gray.
"Vorrei dire che la musica non ha confini, continenti o bandiere, che è (o dovrebbe essere) libera da ogni vincolo 'umano' e che può essere un'ottima via di fuga o rifugio mentale".
“Unfolded” è il nome del brano che fa il debutto del progetto OCZ, pubblicato da Dreki e distribuito da Artist First. Il suono è composto da suoni analogici e digitali miscelati con percussioni tribali e registrazioni ambientali. “Unfolded” può essere definita come una ballata elettronica scritta con l'intento di accompagnare l'ascoltatore nel suo viaggio personale. È la colonna sonora di un ritorno a casa dal sapore malinconico, il brano che racchiude attimi di inconsapevole felicità quotidiana e li rende indelebili nella mente. Over Country and Zones, come emblema della pluralità, racconta la storia di un mondo senza barriere, in cui l'unico modo per perseguire è la contaminazione della diversità.
Over Country and Zones (OCZ) is one of the musical projects of Enrico De Lucia, Italian producer, sound designer, and composer of Campania origins, who is currently living in London. The Multi-instrumentalist began playing the piano as a child, but driven by his passion for electronic music, he began DJing in 2006.
Under the pseudonym Uppeach, in 2010, De Lucia began to try his hand at production, mainly making hip-hop instrumentals for friends and young local rappers. In the following years, he toured Europe playing in the best clubs on the continent and opened evenings and DJ sets by artists such as Kenny Dope, 2 many Dj's / Soulwax, Dope D.O.D, TeeBee, and many others.
In 2018, De Lucia obtained his MA in the "Art of music production" at Berklee College of Music and was admitted to the Point Blank Music School in 2019, where he is currently completing his BA course of study in "Music Production and Sound design."
In his career, De Lucia has had publications from various labels around the world, such as: Sony Japan, Universal, Cult Classic, and B.M. and boasts remixes for artists such as Dj Snake, The Weekend and Adele, passed on the radio as Beats1 and published on major DJ portals, such as DjCity. “Unfolded” is the name of the track that debuts the OCZ project, released by Dreki and distributed by Artist First. The sound consists of analog and digital sounds blended with tribal percussion and environmental recordings. “Unfolded” can be defined as an electronic ballad written with the intention of accompanying the listener on his personal journey. It is the soundtrack of a homecoming with a melancholy flavor, the track that contains moments of unconscious daily happiness and makes them indelible in the mind. Over Countries and Zones, as an emblem of plurality, tells the story of a world without barriers, in which the only way to pursue is the contamination of diversity.

What inspired you to become a musician?
Non saprei, è sempre stato ciò che sognavo di fare, probabilmente è stata la musica stessa a spingermi a diventare musicista.
I don't know, it was always what I dreamed of doing, it was probably the music itself that pushed me to become a musician.

Avevo bene o male sei anni quando iniziai a suonare il piano ed intorno ai 13 mi sono appassionato alla musica elettronica.
I was six years old when I started playing the piano and around 13 I became passionate about electronic music.

Un mix di suoni ed emozioni.

Dov'è il luogo del tuo concerto ideale?
Where is your ideal place to perform?
Probabilmente in un posto tipo Alaska o Norvegia, durante un’aurora polare. Magari non ci sarà molta gente, ma potrebbe essere molto suggestivo.
Probably in a place like Alaska or Norway, during a polar aurora. There may not be many people, but it could be very impressive.

What is your favorite song to perform?
Di getto direi "Unfolded," ma riflettendoci un attimo, un paio di prossima uscita andrebbero sicuramente meglio!
I would say "Unfolded," but on reflection, a couple of upcoming releases would certainly be better!

Which famous musicians do you admire?
Ne ammiro molti, ognuno per una caratteristica particolare. Ad esempio, Bonobo per i suoni e Christian Lofflër per le doti di scrittura, ma ammiro tantissimo anche Gigione!
I admire many of them, each for a particular characteristic. For example, Bonobo for the sounds and Christian Lofflër for the writing skills, but I also admire Gigione very much!

Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?
If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?
Probabilmente renderei più accessibile il poter contattare le etichette per fare ascoltare la propria musica (per etichette intendo etichette grosse, non la bedroom label dell'amico).
I would probably make it more accessible to be able to contact labels to get your music heard (by labels I mean big labels, not your friend's bedroom label).

What is a message you would like to give to your fans?
Ascoltate di tutto e non abbiate pregiudizi sui vari generi.
Listen to everything and do not be prejudiced about the various genres.
