Born in 1985, Millie Myne is a multifaceted Italian artist from Rome. Her father, a jazz bass player, inspired her to approach the world of music very early in her childhood. Her singing experience started when she was in the Gospel Choir while studying Performing Arts: Singing, Acting, and Dance.
In 2006, Millie began acting on TV and Cinema. In 2019, she solidified a close collaboration with producer Giacomo Bondi (professional in Digital Music, musician, producer, sound engineer, and mastering engineer), by writing lyrics of songs in both Italian and English. In 2020, she released the album "L4LOVE" on all online music platforms. The following year, she met sound engineer and producer Carlo Avanti, with whom she began a collaboration, giving life to the songs, "Vibrazione," and "Lasciati.” Her musical influences come from listening to artists such as Bjork, Elisa, Subsonica, Aurora, Depeche Mode, and Billie Eilish.
Millie’s latest single, “Murder Song,” was released on December 24, 2021.

What inspired you to become a musician?

It was a very natural process. As a child, I listened to my father playing the double bass and my greatest enjoyment was singing with him at karaoke on Sundays.

How old were you when you started playing (music)?

I started in middle school and studied classical guitar. Then I became passionate about the keyboard, but I must confess that my study has mainly focused on the voice.

My music is experimentation. It’s continuous research that represents every phase of my life.

In the Italian scene I love Subsonica and Elisa. But there are many others especially on the international scene such as the singer-songwriter Aurora.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

In fact, I notice that in society there is a tendency to judge for better or for worse, rather than giving valid advice.

If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?

I would like all good artists to be recognized more for meritocracy.
