Sofia Buconi, also known as “Nibirv,” is an Italian artist from Bologna. She made her first stage appearance with her father Paolo for a performance of violin and voice accompanying him with dance and tambourine during the interlude of Lucio Dalla's show at the Teatro Comunale in Sasso Marconi. Since 1997, she has been studying singing and piano at the G. Torelli school in Sasso Marconi.
In 2017, Sofia began a collaboration with Roberto "Freak" Antoni singer and leader of Skiantos, that lasted 7 years. With him, she participated in the creation of the Dinamismi Plastici album (which contains 3 tracks sung by Sofia) and performed numerous live shows around Italy.
Sofia’s collaboration with Parix Hilton (Paride Galimi) began in 2016, creating the “Nibirv” project by publishing 4 singles for Thaurus and UMI (Universal Music Italia)- "Come Kurt Cobain" (2018), "Deadlift" (May 2018), "Venere" (January 2019), and "Nuvole Nere" (July 2019). This was anticipated by a posse track "Bimbe (Holla)" with three other rappers (Leslie, Ivonne, and Hindaco).
Nibirv’s latest single, “Parole sbagliate,” was released on January 4, 2022.

Ha fatto la sua prima apparizione teatrale con il padre Paolo per un'esibizione di violino e voce accompagnandolo con danza e tamburello durante l'intermezzo dello spettacolo di Lucio Dalla al Teatro Comunale di Sasso Marconi. Dal 1997 studia canto e pianoforte presso la scuola G. Torelli di Sasso Marconi.

I never doubted that music would be part of my life in one way or another, I've always sung and written songs for as long as I can remember.

Unfortunately, the pandemic has slowed everyone down in recent years, before I participated in some festivals such as the Alibi Summer Fest in Puglia and BMA in Bologna, I hope to do many more soon!
