Classe 1992, Andrea Mietta, detto anche “Peligro”, è un rapper/cantautore milanese classe 1992. Figlio di un bassista e di un cantante, la musica (e l'arte, in generale) ha sempre fatto parte della sua vita. A partire dal suo primo amore per i musical alla scoperta del pop e del rap che, all'età di 14 anni, lo travolse come un fiume in piena.
I primi passi di Peligro nel mondo della musica iniziano nel 2011, a seguito di un incontro casuale con Hernan Brando, produttore argentino e cantante degli Hotel Buena Vida e della Mediterranean Orchestra. L'incontro avvenne una sera a Milano quando Brando, attratto da un gruppo di ragazzi che praticavano freestyle, sentì Peligro improvvisare sul beat e, vedendo le potenzialità, decise di offrirgli di collaborare a un progetto.
Quello che è seguito è stato il primo album di Peligro, "Scontento", nel 2011, e l'album "Musica dannata", nel 2013, entrambi diretti da Brando. Durante il processo di creazione, i due hanno sperimentato le più disparate tecniche di produzione, che hanno permesso a Peligro di ampliare i confini della sua visione artistica e di adottare da subito un approccio “art-centrico” alla produzione musicale. I progetti con Brando si sono alternati alle sue uscite indipendenti e autoprodotte, come l'EP "EP-Centro", composto, registrato e mixato in una notte, e il mixtape "Training Camp", pubblicato in tre volumi.
Nel 2016, Peligro ha pubblicato il suo terzo album ufficiale, "Tutto Cambia", che ha assunto una visione classica del rap, composto da campioni moderni e vintage. L'album, distribuito da Artist First, ha dato a Peligro l'opportunità di esibirsi su palchi importanti come quello del Deejay On Stage di Riccione, del MEI di Faenza, e del Tour Music Fest di Roma.
Il 16 dicembre 2016, Peligro ha pubblicato l'EP, "Assoluto" (Artist First), sempre prodotto da Hernan Brando. Forti di un rapporto consolidato, i due sperimentano mescolando rap, musica elettronica ed EDM, dando libero sfogo ai loro istinti artistici. In seguito alla pubblicazione dell'EP, Peligro ha avuto l'opportunità di proporre il suo repertorio in contesti importanti come l'Emergenza Festival, manifestazione dedicata alla musica emergente mondiale, il FluoRun di Milano, e il Premio Lunezia (sezione nuove proposte).
Nel 2018 Peligro conosce Marco Zangirolami, storico produttore e tecnico del suono del rap italiano fin dalle origini (Sottotono, Fabri Fibra, Emis Killa, J-Ax, ecc.), che ha curato la produzione dell'album "Mietta sono io." Il disco è stato presentato dal vivo in importanti rassegne come il Festival Show e il Deejay On Stage.
Peligro è tornato a lavorare con il produttore Hernan Brando nel 2020, con il quale ha realizzato l'EP, "Respiro", uscito in primavera e anticipato dai singoli "Gemelli", Quanto ti costa" e "Dietro". A dicembre esce il singolo "Parole al Vento", prodotto da Marco Zangirolami, che apre un nuovo capitolo della sua carriera. Nel 2021 escono i singoli "Alibi" e "Prima di Godere", sempre prodotti da Marco Zangirolami, che ha anticipato la pubblicazione dell'EP, "The Ikigai Series - Vol.1", uscito ad ottobre.
Born in 1992, Andrea Mietta, also known as, “Peligro,” is a Milanese rapper/songwriter born in 1992. Son of a bassist and a singer, music (and art, in general) has always been part of his life. Starting from his first love for musicals to the discovery of pop and rap which, at the age of 14, overwhelmed him like a river during a flood.
Peligro first steps in the music world began in 2011, following a chance meeting with Hernan Brando, Argentine producer and lead vocalist of the Hotel Buena Vida and the Mediterranean Orchestra. The meeting happened one evening in Milan when Brando, attracted by a group of guys freestyling, heard Peligro improvising on the beat and, seeing the potential, decided to offer him to collaborate on a project.
What followed was Peligro’s first album, “Scontento,” in 2011, and the album “Musica dannata,” in 2013, both directed by Brando. During the creation process, the two experimented with the most disparate production techniques, which allowed Peligro to broaden the boundaries of his artistic vision and to immediately adopt an “art-centric” approach to music production. The projects with Brando alternated with his independent and self-produced releases, such as the EP "EP-Centro", composed, recorded and mixed in one night, and the "Training Camp" mixtape, which was published in three volumes.
In 2016, Peligro released his third official album, “Tutto Cambia,” which took on a classic vision of rap, consisting of modern and vintage samples. The album, distributed by Artist First, gave Peligro the opportunity to perform on important stages such as that of the Deejay On Stage in Riccione, the MEI in Faenza, and the Tour Music Fest in Rome.
On December 16, 2016, Peligro released the EP, "Assoluto" (Artist First), again produced by Hernan Brando. Strengthened by a consolidated relationship, the two experimented by mixing rap, electronic music, and EDM, giving free rein to their artistic instincts. Following the publication of the EP, Peligro had the opportunity to propose his repertoire in important contexts such as the Emergenza Festival, an event dedicated to emerging music worldwide, the FluoRun in Milan, and the Premio Lunezia (new proposals section).
In 2018, Peligro met Marco Zangirolami, a historic producer and sound engineer of Italian rap since its origins (Sottotono, Fabri Fibra, Emis Killa, J-Ax, etc.), who took care of the production of the album "Mietta sono io." The disc was presented live in important reviews such as the Festival Show and the Deejay On Stage.
Peligro returned to work with producer Hernan Brando in 2020, with whom he created the EP, "Respiro," released in the spring and anticipated by the singles "Gemelli,” Quanto ti costa,” and “Dietro.” That December, he released the single, "Parole al Vento," produced by Marco Zangirolami, opening a new chapter in his career. Sono sempre stato immerso nella musica: mio padre suona il basso, mia madre cantava e mio nonno era un grande fan dello swing di Frank Sinatra. In un certo senso, era la scelta più logica.

Il mio primo approccio alla musica scritta è avvenuto a 14 anni, quando in radio e in TV passavano i singoli di Mondo Marcio e Fabri Fibra. Sono stato subito stregato da quel mondo e ho deciso che dovevo farne parte.
My first approach to written music took place when I was 14, when the singles of Mondo Marcio and Fabri Fibra played on the radio and on TV. I was immediately bewitched by that world and decided I had to be part of it.

How would you describe your music?
Mutevole. Cerco di non fare mai due progetti troppo simili dal punto di vista del sound... è una sfida costante che faccio a me stesso per evolvermi sempre di più come artista.
Changing. I try to never do two projects that are too similar from a sound point of view ... it is a constant challenge that I do to myself to evolve more and more as an artist.

Ho diversi palchi nel cuore... quello che ricordo con maggior piacere è il lido di Caorle. Il palco era letteralmente sul mare e il pubblico ascoltava musica mentre faceva il bagno. Uno spettacolo nello spettacolo. Per i prossimi appuntamenti live, abbiamo diverse cose in cantiere... quando i tempi saranno maturi, si saprà.
I have several stages in my heart ... the one I remember with most pleasure is the Lido di Caorle. The stage was literally on the sea and the audience listened to music while taking a bath. A show within a show. For the next live events, we have several things in the pipeline ... when the time is right, we will know.

Scherzi a parte, dipende dalle situazioni. Non c'è una canzone che va bene per tutte le situazioni e fa parte del lavoro dell'artista cucire ogni performance su misura per il contesto.

Seriously, it depends on the situations. There is no one song that fits all situations and it is part of the artist's job to tailor each performance to the context.

Ammirare è una parola difficile, perché implica una sfera umana sulla quale è difficile esprimersi se non si conosce la persona.
Dal punto di vista artistico, sono un grande fan di Macklemore. Credo che la scena gli debba davvero molto, per quello che ha fatto negli anni.
Admire is a difficult word, because it implies a human sphere on which it is difficult to express oneself if one does not know the person.
Artfully, I'm a huge Macklemore fan. I think the scene really owes him a lot, for what he has done over the years.

Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?
If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?
Il fattore "tempo". Il fatto che un disco diventi vecchio nel giro di qualche mese è davvero frustrante. Dietro ogni progetto c'è il lavoro di tantissime persone, ci sono risorse, sudore, passione... io stesso lavoro a questo EP da prima ancora che ci fosse il COVID e il pensiero che presto sarà già "acqua passata" è davvero fastidioso. Non lo trovo rispettoso nei confronti della musica stessa.
The "time" factor. The fact that a record gets old within a few months is really frustrating. Behind every project there is the work of many people, there are resources, sweat, passion ... I myself have been working on this EP even before there was COVID and the thought that it will soon be "water under the bridge" is really annoying, I don't find it respectful of the music itself.
