Italian artist Raffaele Moretti approached music at the age of 15 and had some experiences with a few bands of the Viterbo area. He then decided to undertake an Italian pop/rock solo project, starting to produce his first unreleased songs.
In 2020, Raffaele participated in the regional finals of Sanremo Rock, and published his first EP, “Anima Felice. The following year, he signed his first contract with the Digital Distribution Bundle record label and released the singles "Il Giardino dei Ricordi," and "Prendi per mano il tuo orgoglio."
Always accompanied by his band (Alessandro Capaldo on drums/backing vocals, Sergio Zanier on guitar, and Walter Graziotti on bass), Raffaele returned to make listeners dream with the new exciting single, “Non c’eri più” on November 16, 2021.
L'artista italiano Raffaele Moretti si è avvicinato alla musica all'età di 15 anni e ha avuto alcune esperienze con alcune band del viterbese. Decide quindi di intraprendere un progetto solista pop/rock italiano, iniziando a produrre i suoi primi brani inediti.

What inspired you to become a musician?
Cosa ti ha ispirato a diventare un musicista?
The thing that inspired me is definitely the ability to to tell stories, it's always something that fascinated me: absorbing all the situations that surround me and translating them into music.
La cosa che mi ha ispirato è sicuramente l'andare a raccontare storie, è sempre una cosa che mi ha affascinato: assorbendo tutte le situazioni che mi circondano e traducendole in musica.
How old were you when you started playing (music)?
Quanti anni avevi quando hai iniziato a suonare?
I started playing the guitar when I was 15, but from a very young age I loved handling the keyboard. Music has always been in my blood, my passion.
Ho iniziato a suonare la chitarra a 15 anni, ma fin da piccolissimo adoravo maneggiare la tastiera. La musica è sempre stata nel mio sangue, la mia passione.
How would you describe your music?

My music is what I cannot express myself in words, they are my innermost feelings.
La mia musica è ciò che non riesco ad esprimermi a parole, sono i miei sentimenti più intimi.

I performed in various clubs in the province of Viterbo, where I live. Soon live in acoustic in Rome.

Where would your ideal concert be?

Small clubs, the intimacy that is created with the audience that follows me is important to me.
Piccoli club, per me è importante l'intimità che si crea con il pubblico che mi segue.
What is your favorite song to perform?
Qual è la tua canzone preferita da esibire?
The song that I feel most mine, where I really put all of myself is the next one that will come out, but at the moment it is my latest single, "Non c'eri più."
La canzone che sento più mia, dove veramente ci ho messo tutto me stesso è la prossima che uscirà, al momento però è il mio ultimo singolo "Non c'eri più".
Which famous musicians do you admire?
Quali musicisti celebri ammiri?
Most of famous musicians are truly the history of music; my points of reference are different between them, but each of them taught me a lot: Rino Gaetano, Neil Yong, Bob Dylan, Edoardo Bennato, Kurt Cobain.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Qual è il miglior consiglio che ti è stato dato?
"What I recommend is to find a small space for yourself, in the daily chaos, where you can cultivate something interesting, which stimulates you to realize yourself." This was told to me by a person very dear to me, it was what prompted me to make music.
"Quello che ti consiglio è di ritagliarti un piccolo spazio, nel caos quotidiano, dove coltivare qualcosa di interessante, che ti stimoli a realizzarti." Questo mi fu detto da una persona molto cara a me, è stato ciò che mi ha spinto a fare musica.
If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?
Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?
Probably the elimination in any talent that deals with music, thus giving the possibility to the "new promises" to emerge.
Probabilmente l'eliminazione in qualsiasi talent che tratta di musica, dando così la possibilità alle "nuove promesse" di emergere.
What is a message you would like to give to your fans?
Qual è un messaggio che vorresti dare ai tuoi fan?
The message I want to give is to always have a dream to follow, because it will be your strength when you meet the obstacles of life; to always have the strength to get up after a fall and the courage to recognize your limits, but to overcome them without giving up.
Il messaggio che voglio dare è di avere sempre un sogno da inseguire, perché sarà la vostra forza quando incontrerete gli ostacoli della vita; di avere sempre la forza necessaria per rialzarsi dopo una caduta ed il coraggio di riconoscere i vostri limiti, ma di superarli senza arrendervi.

A completely new album, where a new Raffaele will be found, more mature and more capable of communicating.
