Classe 1998, Mattia Sacchetti, noto come l'artista “Sakküra”, è un artista italiano la cui passione per la musica è iniziata nell'infanzia. All'età di undici anni ha frequentato a scuola i corsi di chitarra classica e successivamente ha continuato ad insegnare da autodidatta lo studio della chitarra elettrica. Ha iniziato a frequentare corsi di canto e a 16 anni ha scoperto la sua passione per il beatbox che, come racconta, ha cambiato la sua vita aprendogli un ulteriore percorso sui social, diventando popolare su TikTok. Questa passione lo ha portato a sperimentare e produrre le sue prime creazioni utilizzando una loop station e il beatbox, scrivendo i suoi primi testi e rappandoci sopra per divertimento.
L'altra passione di Sakküra sono i film horror e gli anime. Sono l'ispirazione per le sue canzoni con cui vuole esprimere i suoi pensieri sul mondo. Nel 2020 un incontro con Marco Canigiula e Cantieri Sonori lo porta a firmare il suo primo contratto discografico. Dopo mesi di lavoro in studio, il 26 marzo 2021 esce il suo primo singolo, "Dio Brando", scritto interamente da lui, seguito a luglio da "Ghoul".
L'ultimo singolo di Sakküra, "Ghostface", è stato rilasciato il 29 ottobre, giusto in tempo per Halloween.
Born in 1998, Mattia Sacchetti, known as the artist, “Sakküra,” is an Italian artist whose passion for music began in childhood. At the age of 11, he attended classical guitar courses at school and continued teaching himself the study of the electric guitar later on. He began to attend singing courses and at 16, he discovered his passion for the beatbox which, as he says, changed his life by opening an additional path for him on social media, becoming popular on TikTok. This passion caused him to experiment and produce his first creations using a loop station and the beatbox, writing his first lyrics and rapping on them for fun.
Sakküra’s other passion is for horror films and anime. They are the inspiration for his songs with which he wants to express his thoughts on the world. In 2020, a meeting with Marco Canigiula and Cantieri Sonori led him to sign his first recording contract. After months of work in the studio, on March 26, 2021, his first single, "Dio Brando," written entirely by him, was released, followed by “Ghoul” in July.
Sakküra’s latest single, “Ghostface,” was released on October 29, just in time for Halloween.
Cosa ti ha ispirato a diventare un musicista?
What inspired you to become a musician?
La musica ha sempre fatto parte della mia vita sin da piccolissimo. Ho iniziato suonando la chitarra classica a 11 anni, a 14 sono passato a quella elettrica e a 16 ho scoperto il beatbox, (ho studiato tutto da autodidatta). Verso i 18 anni ho iniziato a produrre le mie prime basi musicali con il beatbox, utilizzando una loop station e poco dopo ho iniziato a scrivere dei testi per gioco, perché non trovavo nessuno che rappasse sulle mie basi. Un anno fa vengo contattato da Marco Canigiula, il mio attuale manager, mi contattò perché era interessato a me come influencer, io sapevo che aveva un’etichetta e allora decisi di mandargli i miei pezzi per farglieli ascoltare, mi disse che la partenza c’era, ma bisognava lavorare molto. Da lì iniziai a prendere la cosa seriamente e mi misi a scrivere per trovare il modo migliore per rendere la musica il più originale possibile. Quindi diciamo che è iniziato tutto molto per caso.
Music has always been part of my life since I was a child. I started playing classical guitar at 11, at 14 I switched to electric and at 16 I discovered the beatbox, (I studied everything on my own). When I was 18, I started producing my first backing tracks with the beatbox, using a loop station and shortly after I started writing lyrics for fun, because I couldn't find anyone who rapped on my bases. A year ago, I was contacted by Marco Canigiula, my current manager, he contacted me because he was interested in me as an influencer, I knew he had a label and then I decided to send him my songs to let him listen to them, he told me that the departure is there it was, but it took a lot of work. From there I started to take it seriously and wrote to find the best way to make the music as original as possible. So, let's say it all started very by accident.

How would you describe your music?
Io definisco la mia musica “Anitrap”, come se fosse un nuovo sottogenere della Trap, perché utilizzo gli anime (cartoni animati giapponesi), per esprimere ciò che sono, quello che ho vissuto e quello che penso, sul mondo, sulla vita e sulle persone, facendo delle metafore e creando delle storie.
I define my music "Anitrap", as if it were a new sub-genre of Trap because I use anime (Japanese cartoons), to express what I am, what I have lived, and what I think about the world, about life, and about people, making metaphors and creating stories.
Dove ti sei esibito? Hai dei prossimi concerti?
Where have you performed? Do you have any upcoming shows?
Sono entrato nel mercato musicale da poco più di 8 mesi e in piena pandemia, ed essendo usciti per ora solo 3 brani e non ho avuto la possibilità di fare alcun concerto. Però quest’anno ho avuto il piacere di esibirmi al Romics, per due giorni, ho cantato “Dio Brando” il mio primo singolo ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica. Spero in futuro di riuscire a fare un mio concerto.
I entered the music market for just over 8 months and in full pandemic, and since only 3 songs have been released for now, I have not had the opportunity to do any concerts. But this year I had the pleasure of performing at Romics, for two days, I sang "Dio Brando," my first single, and it was a fantastic experience. I hope in the future to be able to do one of my concerts.

Ovunque ci siano persone che amano la mia musica e siano pronte a cantare le mie canzoni fino a perdere la voce.

Quali musicisti celebri ammiri?
Which famous musicians do you admire?
Diciamo che non c’è un musicista che ammiro particolarmente, però, parlando di rapper italiani, sicuramente Noyz Narcos e il suo collettivo mi hanno influenzato molto, essendo un amante del cinema horror sin da bambino e di cose macabre in generale, adoravo e adoro la loro musica e li ammiro perché si sono distinti da tutto quello che il mercato musicale proponeva al tempo, ottenendo un grande successo e riuscendo a lasciare un segno.
Let's say that there is not a musician that I particularly admire, however, speaking of Italian rappers, certainly Noyz Narcos and his collective influenced me a lot, being a lover of horror cinema since childhood and macabre things in general, I adored and adored their music and I admire them because they distinguished themselves from everything the music market offered at the time, achieving great success and managing to leave a mark.
Qual è il miglior consiglio che ti è stato dato?
What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Il mio manager una volta mi disse che in questo settore bisogna avere molta pazienza, perché i tempi sono molto dilatati e che non bisogna buttarsi giù se i risultati non arrivano subito, perché è normale, bisogna continuare a lavorare senza preoccuparsi dei numeri.
My manager once told me that in this sector you have to have a lot of patience because the times are very dilated, and that you must not be down if the results do not arrive immediately because it is normal. You have to continue working without worrying about the numbers.
Se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel settore della musica, quale sarebbe?
If you could change something about the Music Industry, what would it be?
Non so cosa cambierei sinceramente, diciamo che negli ultimi anni sono cambiate molte cose, c’è stata una vera e propria rivoluzione per quanto riguarda la “musica fai da te”, ormai basta un microfono, un paio di casse e un computer per creare musica e grazie ai social la si può far diffondere senza problemi se si è bravi e anche le major rispetto al passato lasciano molto più liberi gli artisti, anche se ancora con delle restrizioni che potrebbero essere evitate.
I don't know what I would honestly change, let's say that in recent years many things have changed, there has been a real revolution in terms of "do-it-yourself music", now you just need a microphone, a couple of speakers and a computer to create music and thanks to social media you can spread it without problems if you are good and even the majors than in the past leave artists much more free, even if still with restrictions that could be avoided.

What is a message you would like to give to your fans?
Se volete diventare dei cantanti, dovete partire dal presupposto di essere il più originali possibile, dovete distinguervi da tutto il resto, rimanendo però voi stessi.
If you want to become a singer, you have to start from the premise of being as original as possible, you have to stand out from everything else, while remaining yourself.

Vorrei riuscire a far ascoltare la mia musica a più persone possibili e fare dei concerti, per vedere cosa si prova a cantare le proprie canzoni insieme a tantissime altre persone che ti amano e amano quello che fai.
I would like to be able to get as many people to listen to my music as possible and do concerts, to see what it feels like to sing your own songs with so many other people who love you and love what you do.
