Born in 1998, Carlo Baratella, also known as “Settembre28,” is an Italian singer-songwriter. The project was created from the month and day of the anniversary of a strong love disappointment in the artist’s life. Everything was born and died on that date when the words for a slow emotional catharsis came to light. A philosophy student in Padua, he found himself on sad evening alone in his apartment and to compose music, releasing all his deepest feelings in the lyrics and chords.
From this new, more introspective vision of music, Carlo’s artistic path begins, which led him to study piano followed by singing and, from the subsequent meeting with Alessandro Cacco, compose his first unpublished pieces.
In 2021 Carlo signed his first recording contract with the Italian record label TRB rec by Andrea Tognassi- Music Publishing, with whom he released the single “Birre in casa” on December 17, 2021, and his latest single, “Come un giornale,” on January 25.

Il progetto nasce dal mese e dal giorno dell'anniversario di una forte delusione amorosa nella vita dell'artista. Tutto nasce e muore in quella data in cui vengono alla luce le parole per una lenta catarsi emotiva. Studente di filosofia a Padova, si è ritrovato in una triste serata da solo nel suo appartamento ea comporre musica, sprigionando nei testi e negli accordi tutti i suoi sentimenti più profondi.
Da questa nuova, più introspettiva visione della musica, inizia il percorso artistico di Carlo, che lo ha portato a studiare pianoforte per poi cantare e, dal successivo incontro con Alessandro Cacco, comporre i suoi primi brani inediti.
Nel 2021 Carlo firma il suo primo contratto discografico con l'etichetta discografica italiana TRB rec di Andrea Tognassi-Music Publishing, con la quale pubblica il singolo “Birre in casa” il 17 dicembre 2021, e il suo ultimo singolo, “Come un giornale”. il 25 gennaio.

How would you describe your music?

Good question! My songs are devoid of methodology, in the sense that each one is composed differently from the other; it is an emotional transport that can lead first to the melody or to the text or to both in one or more different moments, so I would define it true, because, if it were not so, I would not even know how to write a song.

Le mie canzoni sono prive di metodologia, nel senso che ognuna viene composta in maniera diversa dall'altra; è un trasporto emotivo che può portare prima alla melodia o al testo o ad entrambi in uno o più momenti diversi, per cui la definirei vera, perché, se così non fosse, non saprei nemmeno come fare a scrivere una canzone.

I have performed only once in my city, then nothing since the arrival of the covid.
I have no live shows planned at the moment, at least until the release of the album scheduled for this year.

A concert is a bit like a party, it's not the place that makes it beautiful, but the people who come there.

I still don't have enough experience in the industry to be able to say anything about it.
